Net vs. Gross Accounts: Differences in Features

Net vs. Gross Accounts: Differences in Features

You can open up to 100 margin accounts in total: 50 Net accounts and 50 Gross accounts.

FREE2EX supports two types of leverage accounts: Net and Gross accounts to trade with leverage. Leverage allows you to trade larger amounts than the funds available in your account.

The main difference between Gross and Net accounts is that on Gross accounts all positions opened for the same instrument are treated as separate operations. Each position is recorded separately. You can open multiple positions on the same financial instrument, including opposite positions.

On a Gross account:
  1. Stop Loss and Take Profit orders are available.
  2. Profit and loss are calculated separately for each position.
  3. Positions are closed using the Close Position command.
  4. When reversing a position, the current position is closed and an opposite position of the same volume is opened.
